You can send information by email, fax, post or hand. You can look up your local Valuation Office contact details online.
Submitting Statements of Case ( England only)
If you have an appeal that is going to Valuation Tribunal in England then you will be asked to submit a Statement of Case to both the Tribunal and the VOA.
- A Statement of Case should set out the disputed issues, the outcome you are seeking, and a summary of your arguments and evidence.
There are formal guidelines, set by the Tribunal, for sending a Statement of Case.
- Statements must be provided no later than 5pm on the due date. The due date will be shown in the hearing notice sent to you by the Valuation Tribunal.
- You can send us Statements by email, fax, post or hand.
- Statements sent to us by email must:
- be sent to the Group Office email address for the office dealing with your case. Look up a Group Office email address.
- contain the case number and property address in the subject, prefixed with ‘SOC’. For example: SOC, case no 123456789, 14 High St, Anytown
- be no larger than 1Mb in size.
- confirm the reply email address we should send our reply to.
- Statements sent to us by fax, post or hand should be sent to the local Valuation Office dealing with your case.
