Why have you listed my property as a hotel when it′s a guest house? (or vice versa)
For smaller premises, guest house or hotel are often interchangeable descriptions. The description will not effect the rateable value of your property.
Identical properties in the same street may describe themselves as a bed and breakfast, a guest house or a hotel. We will look at factors like the type of property, number of rooms and available facilities when we work out the rateable value.
