You are on the FAQs answer page for:
What does double bed unit mean?
We work out the rateable value based on the number of double bed units in a guest house, B&B or small hotel.
A double bed unit is a double or twin room with en-suite facilities. The value of your letting rooms will be adjusted if they are different. For example, a single room without en-suite will have a different lower value.
We normally break down your rateable value based on the number and type of rooms available. Sometimes we will show the different types of room as the equivalent of double bed units. This will not make a difference to your rateable value.
