You are on the FAQs answer page for:

How can I check the progress of my appeal?

You can check the progress of an appeal from the 'Find my appeal' button on the homepage.

  • First, you need to find your appeal. You will need your post code or the VOA case number. The case number will be on our acknowledgement letter to you.
  • We′ll show you a list of search results. Click on an address to see the details.

The details will include:

  • Who has made the appeal
  • The agent you are using (if using one)
  • The reason (grounds) you are appealing
  • The programme your appeal is in
  • The strat date for us to begin discussing the appeal with you or your agent.
  • The target date for us to conclude discussing the appeal with you or your agent.
  • Any outcome of the discussion.

If you click on the link in the programme column you can also see which office is handling your appeal.

If no dates are available for your appeal, this means that your appeal has not yet been programmed for discussion. There are links to our draft programmes and our online contact form and telephone number.
