Below you will find the answer to the question:
Are you going to inspect my property if I make an appeal?
Answer:
We do not always need to visit your property if you contact us with an enquiry or to make an appeal against your rateable value.
Whether we need to visit will depend on the type of query or appeal you have made and how it corresponds to the information we already hold. For example, if it is a ‘material change’ that is having an effect on the whole area then we may not need to visit every property in order to assess the impact of the change.
If we do need to visit your property we will contact you first to arrange a convenient time. We will always show you our ID.
