The effective date of the rateable value is wrong.

This type of issue can often be resolved by contacting your local valuation office

The effective date is either the date of the most recent revaluation or the date when a new or amended rateable value, description or address comes into effect.

You can submit an appeal if you think we do not have the right effective date on your rateable value. You will need to provide reasons why you think this is the case.

You should contact us before appealing, to check the reason why we set the effective date as we did.
